Ms. Evans provided us with a comprehensive and useful questionnaire to collect our likes and dislikes, and continues to incorporate our feedback to customize the meals to meet our needs. When she prepares the food in our home, it is a pleasure to have her work in our kitchen. She is neat, efficient, and pleasant to be around. She can also prepare meals offsite and deliver them. The dinners that she prepares for us are varied, healthy, and tasty. Pairings are consistently well thought out and appealing. The presentation is beautiful, and the quality of the food and the ease of preparation have been stellar.

It has been a great comfort and relief to have our refrigerator stocked with fresh, expertly prepared, and appetizing dinners. Having one less decision to make at the end of a busy day is invaluable, and I recommend her services.

“On Memorial Day weekend our family hosted a celebration of life for my husband, Buzz Holt. Eileen Evans helped plan the menu and included several of Buzz’s favorite foods. She and her crew presented a beautiful array of food four our family and guests. It was wonderfully done!”

"We hired Eileen Evans to cater our dinners for our company retreat in Tahoe City, Ca. Over 3 days, the 40 of us we were treated to wonderful Italian, Mexican and Asian-themed meals, including many gluten-free options. She's a delight to work with (good energy and great attitude) and her assistants (sous chef and server) were fantastic too. I definitely recommend. :)"

personal chef testimonial I recently hosted a formal dinner party for 50 people at my home. The purpose of the event was to promote my new book, The Sacred Art of Eating, which meant that the menu needed to be Imperfectly Vegan™. Eileen and her staff prepared both hot passed and stationary appetizers "Cauliflower Cocktail". A 5-course sit down dinner which included Tower Garden Salad, Yellow Pepper Soup, Grilled Eggplant Rolls, Penne w/Spring Pesto and Pine-nuts, Garlic Crostini and Lemon Pie with Blueberry Glaze for dessert. Introducing people to a new way of eating is incredibly challenging, but Eileen's food preparation and presentation was so scrumptious and beautiful that everyone was thrilled and hardly realized they were missing anything (because they weren't)! Congratulations, Eileen, on meeting this culinary challenge with great success.

We recently selected Chef Eileen to cater a sit down Retirement Party dinner for 35 guests in November. As the host of the party, I was impressed by Eileen’s planning , preparation and easy communications style. She made suggestions about the menu and wine selections, and provided the necessary support staff for a successful event. Last but not least, the menu was elaborate enough to set the stage for a dining experience that one might expect from a top notch restaurant. The meal was delicious; the service superb, all made possible by Eileen’s exceptional planning and culinary skills. Our guests are still raving about the elegant party they attended which we could not have orchestrated without Eileen! We would not hestitate to use her services again.

Dear Eileen:

I need your help again for two more events. First, however, let me say that the two events that you catered for us were terrific--the first one being the Christmas luncheon for 20 ladies and the second, the sit down formal dinner murder mystery party when you served an English-style dinner wth prime rub, Yorkshire pudding and the works.

Now I need your help again for a dinner party about two weeks before Christmas; I would like you to prepare an "Olde English Christmas Dinner". After the holidays, I will be having another mystery party with the theme being Egypt. As we discussed, you have many wonderful lamb dinner ideas

Please give me a call, so we can make the arrangements and my husband and I can enjoy watching you work your magic again.
